I want to wrap up my thoughts on the series before moving on to my next project, so I want to do a few rankings lists and then do some superlatives encompassing the sublime and the ridiculous of the series, the racist, the sexist and the ever so occasionally enlightened.

  1. Quibble: Robert Shaw's Red Grant is the true villain of From Russia With Love. Rosa Klebb is most memorable for resurfacing in Austin Powers.

    1. With both the villains and the girls, there is a lot of wiggle room. Who is the real villain of Octopussy? I picked Khan, but there are three legitimate options. Shaw is definitely in the movie a lot more than Lotte Lenya, but A)Lenya is a screen legend (mentioned in "Mack the Knife"!) and B)she's clearly superior to Shaw's henchman in the SPECTRE hierarchy. Plus, knife shoes.
